Bishop Errol G. Thompson, Sr. is married to the former Ms. Sharon E. Williams. From this union God has blessed them with four beautiful children, Jenel, Britney, Tashana and Errol, Jr.
Bishop Thompson’s start in ministry came under the tutelage of his late father in ministry, Reverend Robert Richardson and he continues to be nurtured in it by his virtuous mother in ministry, Mrs. Loretta Richardson.
In January of 2010 the Holy Spirit influenced and led him to plant the New Life Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Orlando, Florida. The church started on January 27, 2010 with approximately 60 people at a Wednesday night Bible study. The initial meeting place was in a community club house at Magnolia Point, a senior citizen apartment complex. After approximately two months of service at that site, the church service location moved to 3239/3241 Old Winter Garden Road of Orlando. A new sanctuary was established along with an administration office.
Bishop Thompson vision for New Life Fellowship is to establish a Bible School to develop new leaders for the new millennium, build a senior citizen complex to care for our aging members, establish a school to help people learn hands on skills to be successful in finding jobs or creating jobs, ministries that reaches people of all ages, backgrounds and walk of life. He is always encouraging the worshippers at New Life Fellowship to stay CONNECTED to the mission, ministries and membership.
On Sunday, July 12, 2015, Bishop Errol G. Thompson, Sr. was consecrated as Bishop of the Dominion Covenant Fellowship of Churches for the State of Florida, under Bishop James E. Kellem, Chief Apostle Prelate.
Bishop Thompson counts it all joy to be redeemed by the Savior Jesus, our Christ and soon coming King, and knows that it is by His grace and His alone that He was called him to be a commentator of Calvary.
Bishop Thompson lives by the Epistle from the pen of II Peter 3:18, “Grow in grace”.
